Workshop system

The garage software you pay for once.

A bespoke desktop app for British garages. Customers, vehicles, seasonal tyre storage, and one-click PDF invoices stay in SQLite on your own PC. Quick at the front desk. Still open when the line is down.

Lifetime licence · £149 paid once · one workshop PC

  • Your data stays on the garage computer
  • Works without an internet connection
  • No monthly subscription

The usual week

You are paying twice for the same job.

Once in lost minutes, hunting a registration through job cards and a wiped whiteboard. Again on the direct debit, for a cloud package that will not open when the broadband drops — and that keeps your customers on someone else’s server.

The usual Tuesday

Paperwork
  • Ring binders, half-written job cards, and regs in someone’s notebook
  • Tyre locations that vanish when the whiteboard is cleaned
  • Another subscription quietly leaving the account
  • The front desk stuck the moment the line drops

With Fonrek Studio

On your PC

One screen for the ramp, the tyre cage, and the invoice. The database is a file on the workshop computer. You own it.

  • Registration, MOT date, mileage, and notes kept with the vehicle
  • Every stored set logged to a rack, a season, and a number plate
  • A PDF invoice or workshop protocol before the customer reaches the counter
  • A single lifetime licence. The monthly bill stops
  • Day-to-day work runs with no internet connection

The suite

Built for the front desk, the diary, and the ramp.

Eight screens for the working day. Check a car in, book the diary, price the job, and see what is due — on the PC you already own.

01 · Front desk

Vehicle check-in

Find the car before it reaches the ramp. Search the workshop database and open the record that is already on this PC.

02 · Diary

Diary and bookings

Put the day on the screen, not the whiteboard. Name, phone, registration, time, and the reason for the visit — an oil change, a tyre swap, an MOT.

03 · Customers

Customers

Search by name or registration while the customer is still at the counter. The list lives on the garage computer, ready the next time that car comes in.

04 · History

Service history

Every repair, and what it took, in one list. Search by registration or customer name and see the jobs and the takings without opening a folder.

05 · Pricing

Job catalogue

Your labour and your parts, with a guide price in pounds. Build the list once, then price the job from it instead of guessing at the desk.

06 · Stock

Parts inventory

Stock follows the job. Add a part and the count drops by one. Take that part off, or delete the job, and the piece goes back on the shelf.

07 · Due soon

Service reminders

Inspections due in the next 30 days, and the bookings already in the diary. Filter to today or this week before the morning starts.

08 · The garage

Garage settings

Name, town, company number, and VAT number, printed in the header of the service report. Save them once. The default VAT rate is 20%.

Offline-first. Your SQLite file.

The workshop lives in a database on the garage PC — in the office or on the laptop in the van. It opens when the broadband does not. Customer names, plates, and job history are not uploaded to a cloud.

HWID licence key

The key is checked against the computer’s hardware ID, so the copy you bought stays on the workshop machine. One PC. One licence. No shared logins floating around the yard.

Pricing

Own it outright.

A lifetime licence for one workshop PC. Pay once, then get on with the work. The customer list stays in the garage.
